1. What We Use
Dockbase relies on a small number of strictly necessary technologies to keep you signed in and to remember your interface preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, third-party analytics cookies, or cross-site trackers of any kind.
2. Authentication Session
Your sign-in session is stored locally in your browser so the application can keep you authenticated between page loads. This storage:
- Contains your session token, which is required for the service to function.
- Respects the "Stay signed in" option you choose at sign-in (7 days when enabled).
- Is removed when you sign out or when the session expires.
3. Interface Preferences
We store minor interface settings, such as sidebar state, locally in your browser so the application remembers how you arranged it. These preferences are never shared with anyone and are not used to profile you.
4. Checkout and Billing
Subscriptions are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. When you reach checkout, Paddle may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing. These cookies are governed by Paddle's privacy policy, and we do not control them.
5. What We Do Not Use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies.
- Third-party analytics or tracking pixels.
- Social media cookies or embedded trackers.
- Consent management pop-ups for marketing purposes, because we have nothing to consent to beyond the essential storage described above.
6. How to Control Cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the essential session storage will sign you out and prevent the application from working, since it is required for authentication.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and request your consent before they are used. Material changes will be communicated via the application.
